Project Overview

Riyadh Golf Club is a destination golf campus hosting daily members, visitors, and international tournament audiences. The project required a comprehensive wayfinding and experience strategy to clarify arrival, circulation, and destination recognition across a large and topographically complex site. The approach balances functional navigation with a strong spatial identity aligned to Golf Saudi branding.

• Campus-wide wayfinding and movement strategy

• Clear hierarchy of arrival and access points

• Integration of branding with environmental identity

Spatial Strategy

The site is structured through sequential arrival zones, primary vehicular loops, and pedestrian-first internal circulation. Wayfinding elements are positioned to reinforce rhythm, visibility, and intuitive decision-making along the user journey. Landmark nodes anchor orientation, while directional elements guide movement seamlessly between parking, clubhouse, and event destinations.

• Hierarchy of gateways, thresholds, and landmarks

• Vehicular and pedestrian circulation clarity

• Decision points reinforced by signage placement

Design Integration

Signage typologies were developed to align with architectural character, landscape rhythm, and human-scale perception. Vertical identification totems establish brand presence, while horizontal directional elements follow sightlines and movement speed. Materials, color, and proportion derive from the club’s architectural palette to ensure cohesive environmental integration.

• Architectural and landscape-aligned signage forms

• Brand-consistent material and color palette

• Human-scale visibility and horizon-based sightlines

Outcome

The strategy delivers a unified navigation system that enhances visitor confidence, reduces confusion, and strengthens place identity. The result is a legible, scalable framework adaptable to daily club operations and large tournament events, ensuring seamless movement across the campus.

• Intuitive visitor experience across large site

• Strong and recognizable campus identity

• Scalable system for future expansion
